Millous Smith Family

Millous Smith was the eighth child of William and Rachel. Tracking his life through Ancestry records proved challenging, as he seemed to be quite the wanderer and likely left home in the late 1920s. In 1930, he was listed as a boarder in the home of Octavia Suber in Asheville, Buncombe County, North Carolina. By the 1940 census, he was living with his brother Morris in the same city, though their names were recorded incorrectly—Morris as “Marris” and Millous as “Miller.” According to the Social Security Death Index, Millous passed away in April 1969 in Baltimore, Maryland. No records were found indicating that he ever married or had children.
